During city tour of Tashkent, you will see the Khoja Ahrar Vali Mosque. Since the time the Shahristan (settlement) was founded, it bore the title of Juma Mosque to the 19th century when the earthquake of 1868 destroyed it almost to ruins.
A tour of Samarkand is unimaginable without visiting Bibi-Khanym Mosque. As part of the legacy of Tamerlane, it could not but combine his grandeur and ambitions and was meant to become the main cathedral mosque of his empire.
A tour of Bukhara will introduce you to Kalyan Mosque, a part of the complex with the namesake minaret. Bearing the name "Great", the main Friday mosque of the city, unlike its predecessors, did not yield its title to the passing time despite all the vicissitudes of history, the influences of nature and time.
