Tashkent:
The Monument for Courage is located at the epicenter of the Tashkent earthquake of 1966 (erected in 1976), “Amir Temur Square Ensemble” with a visit to the State Museum of the History of the Temurids of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. Museum of Applied Arts. National Independence Square. Old City: Khazret-Imam Architectural Complex, Barak-Khana Madrasah, Tilla-Sheikh Mosque, Jami Mosque, Khadra Square, Kukeldash Madrasah, Mui-Mubarak Madrasah (XIX century) that hosts the oldest Uthman Koran.
Samarkand:
Guri Amir Mausoleum, the tomb of Tamerlane. Registan Square, the main square of Samarkand (Ulugbek Madrassah, Sher-Dor Madrassah, Tillya-Kari Madrassah ("Coated with Gold"). Bibi-Khanum Cathedral Mosque, named after Tamerlane's elder wife, Khazret-Khyzr Mosque Architectural Complex. Shakhi-Zinda (a necropolis is masterpiece of Islamic architecture in Samarkand). Khiva:
Ichan-kala (translated as "Inner City"). Ichan Kala is the largest open-air museum in Central Asia. Inside there are such architectural monuments as: Ata-Darvaza, Kunya-Ark, Madrassah of Muhammad Rakhimkhan, Madrassah of Muhammad Aminkhan, Kalta Minor, Palace of the Khiva Khan Allakulikhan - Tash-Khauli, where he kept a harem of 40 concubines, caravanserai and Tim Allakulikhan, the Gate of Pahlavan Mahmud, Mausoleum of Seyid Allaudin, Mausoleum of Pakhlavan Mahmud, Minaret and Madrasah of Islam-Khoja, Jami Mosque and Minaret.
